Completion of the statutory sentence as one of the legal conditions of grant of parole and its substitution for a milder sentence
The author investigates the issues connected with the influence of various sentences completion terms on the application of parole and substitution for a milder punishment. The author grounds the relevant theoretical solutions and suggestions for improvement of the Russian Federation Criminal Code and Criminal-Procedural Code. In particular, complements to the RF Criminal Code Article 79 and the Criminal-Procedural Code Articles 126 and 175 are offered.
