Liability for destroying or damaging of the monuments of history and culture by the Russian criminal law
The article is devoted to the criminal-legal and criminological analysis of crimes threatening the historical and cultural values. Basing on the foreign and Russian experience the author proposes the new construction of Article 243 of the Russian Criminal Code. It reflects measures aimed at prevention and minimization of such criminal actions.
