Experience of creating biopharmaceutical clusters abroad and in Russian Federation regions and its applying for development of pharmaceutical sector of Tatarstan Republic
The article summarizes the experience of applying cluster approach to creating biopharmaceutical clusters abroad (the USA, European Union countries, India, China, etc) and in some Russian regions (Saint-Petersburg, Altai region, aroslavl oblast), gives comparative analysis of the Russian pharmaceutical clusters and the forming cluster in Tatarstan. It is shown that the main criteria for creating the efficiently functioning clusters should be the support of large scientific-research centres and universities as a core of the forming clusters.
